Refund policy

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Our Returns Policy applies only if the item is not custom-made, discounted, on sale, or specifically sourced, created, or altered for you.  

 
2. Handling Fee for Cancellations

  • If you cancel your order due to the furniture not fitting into your home, a 20% handling fee of the total invoice amount will apply.  

3. Care of Goods  

  • If you wish to return your goods, you are responsible for taking good care of the furniture. Any loss or damage incurred may result in a claim against you. To avoid such claims, ensure the goods are returned in appropriate packaging.  

4. Return and Collection Fees

  • A second charge, equivalent to the original delivery fee, will apply if goods need to be collected. Alternatively, you may return the goods to the store where your order was placed to avoid this charge.  

5. Non-Returnable Items

  • Furniture with additional custom options selected is considered custom-made. Such items cannot be returned or refunded once delivered and signed for unless they are defective or were damaged by us during delivery.  

6. Refund Process

  • Any monies paid will be refunded using your original payment method within 14 days of order cancellation, provided the furniture is inspected and found to be in perfect condition.  
  • For purchases made via Debit card, an additional 5% cancellation fee will apply.

8. Jurisdiction and Costs

  • By placing an order, you consent to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court, regardless of the amount in dispute. All costs incurred by Maison D'Isle to enforce its rights, including attorney fees, collection costs, and tracing fees, will be borne by you.
